Long time no post.

It seems that I have neglected this blog quite alot ;_; I do apologise but am eager to get back to blogging ^_^

In my last few posts I mentioned becoming more interested in Fairy-kei and Otome styles, well I can say I did try fairy kei and unfortunately pastels do not suit me what-so-ever! I learnt this the hard way when Metamorphose released the 'Blooming Garden' special set, this had been one of my dream prints for a while, especially in the yellow colourway. The colour didn't suit me at all ;_; so I had to sell it.
Its really disheartening when a dress doesn't suit or fit, since most of us don't have the option of trying items on before we buy >_> My main gripe is with Juliette et Justine, a brand which I adore for its ornate beautiful prints but the dress measurements seem to be wildly inaccurate. I don't know if it's just me but both JetJ dresses I own in size 1 (my exact waist size) have been massively big and it's extremely frustrating because I dare not try to alter it in fear or ruining the print or style. Recently I found that JetJ do alter some of thier dresses to customer measurements, I really wish I had known this beforehand!

In September the 'Tea Party Club' had its 4th anniversary hosted by the lovely founder Kyra. I wore my Innocent World 'Lauretta Rose' jumperskirt, which is quickly becoming my favourite lolita piece as its so versatile and the material is lovely.I managed to find a cardigan and bag in dusky pink that matched extremely well. My friend and fellow loli Nazia (Kawaii Kandee) wore her Angelic Pretty 'Dream Sky' onepiece in Navy, this was the first time I had seen the dress in person and I have to say it's absolutely gorgeous. I love the layers of chiffon giving it a gorgeous fluffy effect, I'm gonna have to borrow it from her one day heehee.

Sorry for the poor picture quality, neither me or Naz had a functional camera so her video camera had to suffice on the day. Somethings better than nothing I suppose ^_^ More photos of the day can be seen at the lovely Herajika's album, one of the classic lolitas (I'm in this one) and sweet lolitas (Nazia's in this one). I met many wonderful lolis on that day and Herajika was one that really stood out. Her warm and friendly personality made myself and my friend (the newbies) feel extremely welcome and especially more since we find her lolita style really inspirational.
